Hotels: lobby energy and key cards

Midtown and Downtown hotels can feel anonymous, but they also include lobby staff, cameras, and key-card elevators. Plan for how you and your guest will meet, and how you’ll handle delays or security questions.

Private apartments: neighbours and noise

Apartments give you more control, but neighbours notice patterns. Think about sound, hallway traffic, and how comfortable you are with someone knowing exactly where you live or work.

Shared studios & incalls

Some providers share studio spaces or rotate through trusted incalls. Clarify who will be present, how often the space is cleaned, and what safety measures are in place between bookings.
