Start with your minimums

Put your base rate and minimum booking length close to the top of your profile. In NYC, this might be “Outcall only · 90 min minimum · 600/hr”. People who can’t meet that baseline will usually self-filter before reaching your inbox.

Use one paragraph to define your vibe

One short, specific paragraph tells clients whether they’re looking at the right person. Mention pace (slow/relaxed vs high-energy), favourite parts of your work, and how you like to connect. You don’t need a full novel.

Write your booking instructions like a checklist

Bullet points are your friend. Example: “When you message, include: 1) First name, 2) Date/time window, 3) Length (60/90/120), 4) Hotel + neighbourhood, 5) How you found me.” This reduces back-and-forth and sets the tone from the first contact.

Say no in advance

A single line like “I do not offer unpaid ‘getting to know you’ chat” or “Explicit messages before screening will be ignored” protects your time. You don’t owe follow-up explanations to people who ignore what you already wrote.
